Screw-Down Cams
| Screw-down cams are slightly smaller than the T-Track cams, and have a 1/8" hole. They can be secured almost anywhere with standard wood or sheet-metal screws. For repetitive work, consider using a machine screw with a threaded insert or T-nut in your jig, as wood screws can tend to loosen with repetitive use. With a little imagination, almost anything can be secured in place with these devices. Their low profile makes them well-suited for working with 3/4" thick workpieces. |
